Portsmouth FC is part of the Premier League Reading Stars programme.

Non-RTG literacy activity

Portsmouth FC's 'Pompey Study Centre' first opened its doors in October 2000.  They began with the Playing for Success scheme.  Since then they have grown and grown, extending the activities they offer and their opening hours.

Amoung the many activities is the Children's University and their amazing Interactive Football library. Currently standing at approximately 3,000 football themed items, including books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, newspapers and Pompey match day programmes. To date, the library has issued around 2,000 titles to schools in Portsmouth.
